Lanham, MD – March 1, 2008 Intact Technology, the solution provider of choice for process consulting and IT infrastructure Management, today announced it has selected industry veteran Martin Burke to lead its new Public Sector Division.  With expansion into Fairfax, Virginia, Mr. Burke as President will lead all sales, business development, capture management, and marketing in the government and education sector.   With offices now in Boston, New York City, and two offices in the Washington DC area, this addition will position Mr. Burke as the lead executive in Virginia but will have him report directly to the CEO of Intact Technology, Todd Johnson.

“Marty brings a business savvy that appeals to executives in the Public Sector IT market,” said Todd Johnson, CEO of Intact Technology.   “Coupled with his strong relationships with both partners and customers, he reinforces my commitment to excellence to deliver exceptional  solutions and services.”

The Pubic Sector Solutions Division will have a continued focus on providing government agencies both the tools and the expertise to build and protect their IT investments for more effective management of its people, processes, and technologies that impact their operations.   Intact's consultants work with clients to design and build processes that help IT organizations meet goals for service levels, quality, and costs to enable them to transform their enterprise systems and technology along with the changing requirements of today’s business environment.

Support for the new division and office selection in Fairfax County is reinforced by colleagues from local government. “Intact Technology is a successful, fast-growing company and we are pleased that a new division will open in Virginia," said Jeffrey M. Anderson, Executive Director, Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). "VEDP enjoyed hosting company representatives to showcase the Commonwealth's business-friendly climate. Fairfax is a great fit for Intact and we look forward to the company's continued success."

Formerly a senior executive, CFO, COO and CEO, Mr. Burke was recognized in the past by Crain’s New York Business newspaper as one of the top 40 executives in New York.  He also was cited by Dun & Bradstreet/Entrepreneur Magazine as managing one the “100 Hottest Growth Companies” and has been featured in the N.Y. Times, WSJ, L.A. Times and many other industry and trade publications.  Burke serves on the Board of Directors of George Mason University, School of Visual and Performing Arts and on the Board of Directors of AFCEA International, a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security
.

“I am honored to be charged with refining Intact's vision and strategy to strengthen our Public Sector Practice,” said Burke.  “Government agencies now more than ever need to find creative ways to deliver high quality IT tools and services to improve citizen services without straining today's tight IT budgets.”
