Intact Technology expands into Virginia, Gains Support from Virginia Economic Development Partnership

Significant Contract Wins Provide Momentum for Focus in Public Sector

Lanham, MD – March 1, 2008 In response to growth in their government and education markets, Intact Technology, the solution provider of choice for process consulting and IT infrastructure Management, today announced it has established a new division and office to expand its existing operations in support of the company’s public sector customers. The new Public Sector office will be located in Fairfax, Virginia and will be lead by industry veteran Martin Burke. As President of the Public Sector Division, Mr. Burke will be responsible to aggressively grow both the product and technical service lines of business for Intact Technology.

“Intact’s success can be contributed to our world class project management and ITIL process consulting services in federal, state & local government, and higher education markets,” said Todd Johnson, CEO of Intact Technology. “With offices in Boston, New York City, and now two offices in the Washington DC area, this decision allows us to provide increased focus and the ability to refine our Public Sector strategy moving forward.”

The expansion into Virginia also is supported by local organizations. “We are delighted to welcome Intact Technology to the Fairfax County business community and base its public sector division here,” said Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. “Fairfax County’s reputation as the center of the Washington technology community and its highly skilled workforce make this the ideal place to launch a government-focused effort.”

With recent wins from Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Labor, Intact's consultants will combine industry best practices, extensive product implementation experience, and a proven service delivery methodology to build business driven IT organizations for these and new customers around the globe.
