Lanham, MD – April 7, 2008 Intact Technology today announced it has been awarded a contract with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (Commission) to automate testing processes for software development lifecycle efforts for their Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) Division. The Commission is the eighth largest water and wastewater utility in the United States and its IT QA Division is responsible for providing quality and assurance to information systems and applications critical to its business needs on multiple platforms and systems.

Challenged with an overwhelming need to perform quality assurance services, the Division currently employs manual testing processes and wants to increase efficiencies and performance by automating the processes to avoid the need of QA and user interaction for each task and activity. Intact technology was chosen to manage a project utilizing the HP Mercury QA Testing Toolset that will seamlessly integrate and execute defined Commission processes.
